I cannot believe I haven't found time to gloat about this man winning the election! Work is really starting to get in the way of my personal life. Unacceptable.
Today I'm wearing my Obama shirt again to salute my president elect. I forgot that we were having a military career expo thing today at work and well, you can imagine the looks I got. Whatever. We've served our time under the Bush regime.
I'm finding this new sense of patriotism and I'm still a little uncomfortable with it. Not that America doesn't have a lot of great intentions and qualities but I've been feeling very unhappy about this country for so long that it's hard to feel proud without some reserve. I think I'm going to embrace it in spirit of remaining positive about our future.
