My 100 year old grandpa passed away this morning at 2am. It was very sad but a relief that he was no longer fighting for every breath. When I saw him yesterday morning he went from stable to seriously compromised lungs. I knew it wouldn't be long but I still wasn't prepared. I guess its hard to be ready for it.
I hope I don't live anywhere near that long.
