3rd time is not always a charm

It's becoming clear that I'm not only getting older but that my beloved family is too. So many ill and fighting for their life and this year and now three grandparents have passed. Both of my grandfathers and now Chris' grandmother. We both only have our maternal grandmothers living. People who played such an important role instilling goodwill and teaching in love are no longer. A lot of people don't have the profound childhood experiences that Chris and I both had. A family that stayed together (some how) and strived to love unconditionally (some more successful than others). Family has always been important and it's staring me in the face now. I will not tolerate surrounding myself with people who won't appreciate and respect me, because that's what I was taught. I deserve that and so does everyone else. So thank you grandpa and grandma for teaching such an important lesson. We will always love and cherish the time we had.

Anyone that knows you would realize very quickly that your family tree has good, strong, resilient roots.

So sorry to hear about Chris' grandmother. Hope you guys are hanging in there.

Miss you.
